What you’ll need:
- 1* set of bubble bags
- 1* pressing screen
- 1* bucket (approximately the same size as your bags)
- 1* large mixing spoon (metal or wooden)
- 1* plastic card (like a credit card)
- 1* dish towel (or paper towels)
- Plenty of ice & water
Basic Instructions: bubble bags sets
- Line your bucket with your bubble bags, first starting with the 25 micron bag at the bottom (outside most), through to the 220 micron bag on top (inside most)
- Fill your bucket and bags with ice and water (approximately half full)
- Add your herbal plant trimmings, allowing it to soak into the ice water.
- Top up your bucket and bags with more ice (approximately two thirds full)
- Stir your mixture for around 15 to 20 minutes, adding ice if necessary to keep the water cold. A 50/50 mix of ice and water is ideal.
- Pull out your bags one by one, starting with the 220 micron and finishing with the 25 micron, draining the water into the bucket.
- Collect the herbal extract that has collected in the bottom of the bag using a spoon or plastic card.
- Place your collected herbal extract onto one half side your pressing screen with a dish towel or paper towel below it. Fold the other half on top and gently press the excess moisture out of your herbal extract.
- Allow extract to sit in a dry place until all moisture is gone. And boom! your herbal extract is ready to enjoy!
Tips:
- Use LOTS of ice, the more the better.
- Quality makes quality.
- Do a second run.
- When drying your powder, use cardboard.
- Rinse your bag using cold water, hot water clogs.
